Dominic Wilcox works between the worlds of art, design, craft and technology to create innovative and thought provoking objects. He makes things and draws his ideas and inventions – constantly transforming the mundane and ordinary into something surprising, wondrous and strangely thought provoking.
Leatrice Eiseman is a color specialist who has been called "the international color guru." Her color expertise is recognized internationally, especially as a prime consultant to Pantone, the leaders in color communication and specification. She has helped many companies to make the best and most educated choice of color for product development, brand imaging, interior/exterior design, fashion and cosmetics, or any other application where color choice is invaluable to the success of the product or environment. Lee is also involved in color and trend forecasting for both fashion and home.
She heads the Eiseman Center for Color Information and Training and is also executive director of the Pantone Color Institute. Lee has been widely quoted in many publications and recognized by Fortune Magazine and the Wall St. Journal as one of the most influential people in the world of color. She is the author of nine books on color, her tenth due out this fall, and delivers seminars worldwide.
She is also a sought-after speaker for trade shows, schools, in-house business presentations, and webinars on color trends, the psychology of color and its usage as well as consumer color preferences and also offers classes on those subjects twice yearly. The next program will be held on Bainbridge Island in Washington in July 2017.
Karli Inez Foster
Karli Inez Foster is part of the Brand Creative Direction Team at global sports brand Adidas. Her focus is around color concepts, direction and seasonal strategy as it relates to footwear and apparel design across multiple product categories in Sports Performance and Style. Each design season, she helps to build and curate the color palette, trend, and materials direction that sets the tone for the entire brand globally.
As an Oregon native, she started her career in Portland as an Apparel Designer, working for local companies such as Columbia Sportswear Co., Nike and now adidas Group. With 15+ years experience, she has had the opportunity to design ranges for technical Outdoor apparel, Youth, Womens, Swim, and Mens Sportswear. Now a Color Expert, her personal beliefs in the value of color and the role it plays in design are always at the forefront.
The adidas Group believes through the power of sport, there is an opportunity to positively change lives. It is through that belief that the Creative Direction team influences the role of design in the culture of sports. Informed by how globally social, economic, political and cultural trends influence consumer mindsets and attitudes, Karli and team are integrating these cues and how they come to life in the world of design for sports products.
Known on the NYC tech scene as the interior designer of choice, Danielle has a uniquely eclectic, yet slightly industrial take on design. She has displayed her expertise in the design of high profile start up spaces like SeatGeek, Sailthru, Codecademy, Venmo, Fueled, Newscred, Contently, Kitchensurfingand Gilt. As well as collaborating with General Assembly on their upcoming worldwide build out.
